Patek Philippe World Time 5230P Full Set

Produced for just two short years, in the all-desirable platinum case, and featuring a gorgeous blue guilloche dial, the 5230P is already staking its flag for future classic status. I particularly adore the 38 mm case featuring sculpted and heavily chamfered soldered lugs that wonderfully balance classic aesthetics with modern presence.  The deep blue guilloche dial is striking and rich, offset by the silver and blue 24-hour ring and soleil finish outer cities ring. The uniquely shaped handset is the icing on the cake to an already special watch.

Case: The 38 x 46.5 x 10 mm platinum case wears beautifully with subtly downturned lugs that sit well on the wrist. The solid platinum case appears to be unpolished with very well-defined case lines, super crisp hallmarks, and the all-important .02 carat diamond in between the lugs at 6,presenting only minor surface scratches, and some present on the back of the lugs from prior strap changes.

Dial: The rich blue dial is the star of the show with guilloche center dial, soleil finished outer rings, and a uniquely sculpted handset.  The dial is free from any imperfections.

Movement: The Patek sealed caliber 240 HU micro-rotor automatic movement is winding, setting, and changing time zones crisply, running at approximately +1 s/d, averaged across 6 positions.  

Strap: Presented on its original blue leather signed strap in standard length and good condition, completed with platinum deployant.
