A neo-vintage Vacheron Constantin Triple Calendar Moonphase is an objective thing of beauty. A perfectly sized, vintage detailed 36 mm precious metal case and extremely elegant and legible calendar layout make for an absolute stunner. And at first glance you might wonder if this is the lovely 1990’s reference 47050. But looking closer, the lack of the “automatic” text on the dial clues you in that this is actually the rarer reference 37150. And of the rarer reference 37150, this is in white metal, making it one of just an estimated 10 examples made in platinum to satisfy the demands of top collectors and clients at the time.
Beyond the rarity, the right lacquer dial, an gorgeous dial layout with an absolutely beautiful moonphase disk, and the presence of platinum make this a true sleeping giant.

Case: The 36 x 42 x 10 mm platinum case is in very nice overall condition with surface scratches commensurate with normal wear present throughout. The top left lug appears to have been repaired at some point and the hallmarks are crisply intact on the numbered caseback.
Dial: The rich lacquered white dial is executed oh so perfectly. The vintage fonts, the Sigma Swiss signature at 6, and the bright blue moonphase disc and date indicator adding the perfect amount of color. The dial is rich, clean, and full of character of charm lacking from many modern watches. The stars on the moonphase are presented as gold speckles that add a real sense of whimsy and handcraft in person.
Movement: The caliber 1150 manually wound movement is the rare configuration of this family of Triple Calendars. It is winding, setting, and running smoothly at approximately +14 s/d, averaged across 6 positions.
Strap: The watch is presented on an aftermarket light blue nubuck strap measuring 120 x 75 and fitted to an aftermarket buckle.
Includes: watch only.
