Blancpain Leman Ultra Slim 2100 with Papers Ref. 2100-1130-53B

$4,500.00

The Leman 2100 might be the best value in neo-vintage watches. It’s robust, refined, sporty, dressy, thin, advanced, yet classic. Boasting a 100 hour power reserve, 100 meters of water resistance, screw down crown and caseback, in a goldilocks sized 38 mm stainless case, it perfectly balances these sporty attributes with a classic double stepped bezel and a very refined stepped dial with white gold applied and faceted indices and sporty, yet refined sword hands. It’s truly a perfect go-anywhere-do-anything watch at one hell of an entry price given these specs and very attractive aesthetic.

Case: The 38 (36 mm without crown guards) × 40.5 × 9.8 mm stainless steel case is in very nice condition throughout, appearing to be unpolished.

Dial: The muti stepped black dial has a level of refinement and finish to it that really needs to be appreciated in person, as with all the Blancpains from this era, with a rich glossy hour track and a subtly sunburst center and minutes track. The highly polished and faceted applied indices elevate the refinement with the broad sword hands keeping it sporty as well, with richly patinated tritium lume present in the hour markers and hands.

Movement: The caliber 1150 / 1151 is an impressive ultra thin automatic movement boasting a 100 hour power reserve. It is winding, setting, and running smoothly at approximately + 1.5 s/d, averaged across 6 positions.

Includes: The watch is presented on a new tan aftermarket leather strap and incudes its original signed deployant buckle. The original guarantee booklet is also included, indicating sale in 2000.
