Chopard L.U.C. 1860 Revolution Edition Full Set

$27,500.00

Solid gold, salmon, guilloche, no-date dial, 36.5 mm stainless steel case, ultra-thin, twin barrel, Geneva Seal, COSC, micro-rotor in house movement; these are all attributes that would get any watch nerd salivating, and if you’re here, there’s a chance you’re well aware of how special the L.U.C. 1860 is. Now put a slight twist on that Metalem produced guilloche dial, (the same dial manufacturer that produced dials for Philippe Dufor’s Simplicity, now owned by Chopard), by leaving it untreated and further limiting production to just 50 pieces, and we’ve bottled lighting.

Made from ‘Lucent Steel’, Chopard’s recycled steel alloy that is harder and brighter than regular stainless steel, the goldilocks size case reminds me of a Patek 2508 with its slightly wider lug profile, providing a more contemporary and casual take to the traditional dress watch. Stunningly beautiful, perfectly wearable, and all the finishing and attributes to get any watch nerd (or normie) excited, the L.U.C. 1860 for Revolution is pure class.
