An absolutely wild optical illusion of a watch, this Hublot Classic Fusion was designed in collaboration with French sculptor Richard Orlinksi and it very much feels like an art piece. The first thing I noticed is that it appears there isn’t a crystal! The highly saturated, polished and boldly sculpted dial reflects light in a very unique way that when combined with a dial free of text, the signature and Swiss Made text are on the crystal, casting a shadow of the text onto the dial, it takes some time at first to wrap your head around what you’re seeing.  The highly polished and faceted hands contribute as well with the extremely neat detail of mirroring the text from the crystal.  The faceted and polished hour indices perfectly play on the sculpted dial and unite the design with the case and bracelet which are all highly polished titanium!  This creates very distinct tone in the metal and also elevates the wearing experience, continuing the mental games around what this is.

Case: The highly polished titanium case and integrated bracelet measure 40 x 45 x 11.5 and are in excellent condition thanks to the hardness of the metal.  The bracelet will fit up to a 7-1/8” wrist and the clasp still contains original protective stickers.

Dial: The sculpted and faceted black dial is truly excellent and very satisfying on wrist, taking in all the different appearances it throws your way.  The dial and hands are all highly polished and free of defects.

Movement: The automatic caliber HUB1100 is winding, setting, and running smoothly at approximately -9 s/d, averaged across 6 positions and is still covered by manufacturer’s warranty until June 17, 2026.
