Okay, hear me out here, every collection should have a modern Rolex. No matter what model you choose (well, nearly… looking at you 1908), you get fit, finish, refinement, robustness, accuracy, durability, comfort (micro adjust!) and water resistance!  Although I’d be quick to recommend an OP or Explorer, the Datejust leans further into the GADA (go anywhere, do anything) mentality with a timelessness meets sophistication meets sporty design that easily dresses up while maintaining water resistance and steel practicality.

The jubilee bracelet is sublime, extremely comfortable, refined, distinctive, and so easy to wear.  Combined with the correct choice of the fluted bezel and the now discontinued blue motif dial, this is an ultimate combination.  The motif dial adds the right amount of subtle texture, depth, interest and it’s no longer available!  The watch is offered in excellent condition as a full kit, get it while you can!

Case: The 36mm stainless steel case is in excellent condition throughout as pictured.  There are two tiny flea bites on the lug shoulders as photographed, these are hard to find with the naked eye and very superficial. 

Dial: The blue motif dial is in excellent condition and might be one of my favorite recent offerings; it’s a subtle deep blue from afar and in lower lighting conditions but up close it provides the wearer depth, texture, and changes in light, showing a brilliant blue in brighter conditions. 

Movement: The officially certified chronometer is winding, setting, running smooth, and operating perfectly.

Bracelet: As photographed, the bracelet will fit an approximate 6.5” wrist and includes an additional 5 links for a total of 9 removable links.  The micro-adjust is effective and delightful.

Includes: Full set including outer white box, inner green wooden box, serial hang tag, chronometer hang tag, manual, service booklet, leather card holder, card dated 12-16-2021, and the additional links.
